This month we catch up with Zoe from The Natural Spa Cosmetics. Their luxury handmade mini soaps can be found in our Mankind and Revitalise boxes.
The mini soaps are a real labour of love. Each bar is hand-created and then carefully hand cut. After a 4 week cure, the bars are ready to be hand wrapped in unbleached tissue paper. They then supply a variety of their 18 delicious scents to WellBox.
Here is what Zoe had to tell us about the brand and what is in store for the future:
When did you begin your business and where did the idea come from?
I started The Natural Spa (TNS) in 2016 when I was 18. I have a passion for natural cosmetics and wanted to pursue this further. I had also just finished my apprenticeship in training to become a chef which had provided the practical and organisational skills to run this type of business.
How has your business grown since?
Since starting up we now offer over 100 different products and employ 4 people to help hand make every one of our products. We are now also stocked in over 200 shops through the UK and Europe.
What does the future hold for your business?
We are hoping to keep paving the way for eco-friendly and plastic-free cosmetic products and bring them into the mainstream market. We also have a love for creating so we have lots more ranges that we are currently working on.
Any other interesting facts you think our customers would like to know?
Our products are 100% plastic-free and we are working on cutting single-use plastic out of our supply chain. We only use sustainably certified ingredients. All of our products are vegan-friendly.
